Chris is the Engineering Program Manager at the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE). At SFPE, Chris is responsible overseeing SFPE’s licensing activities, as well as leading the profession in SFPE’s goal to gain increased professional recognition. He has served for 20 years as a volunteer firefighter including seven years as Fire Chief of the Chillum-Adelphi Volunteer Fire Department in Langley Park, Maryland. Chris has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in fire protection engineering and a Master’s in Management from the University of Maryland. Chris is a registered professional engineer in the States of Maryland and California.
