Assistant Professor Ehab Zalok - Carleton University
Dr. Zalok is an assistant professor at the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. He holds a Ph.D. in Fire Safety Engineering, M.A.Sc. in structural engineering, and a Bachelor in Civil Engineering. His research areas include the behaviour of fires in enclosures, the structural aspects of fire safety, flammability of materials and the behaviour of composite fuel packages under different scenarios by using experimental techniques and computer modelling. Dr. Zalok is also interested in the field of project management and engineering economics, emphasized on the cost-effective engineering issues essential for decision-making. Dr. Zalok is a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE).
