Kevin is a Station Officer with the New South Wales Fire Brigades (NSWFB), Australia. Prior to joining the NSWFB he was a volunteer with the NSW Bush Fire Service where he developed an extensive knowledge of the rural and urban interface environments. His 22 years of experience have seen him stationed at various industrial and metropolitan areas throughout Sydney, qualify as a Fire Behaviour/Suppression Instructor, an Instructor with Comsafe (Commercial Safety Training Section) and develop a unique systemic approach to problem solving. Kevin recently relieved in the Specialized State Operations Bush Fire / Natural Hazards Section and served as a Team Leader of a multi-agency investigation unit into the “Black Saturday” Victorian bushfires. A career highlight for Kevin was his service alongside Ottawa Firefighters as an International Firefighter Exchange participant in 2006/07.
