Wasn’t this 2 years ago? Hope he/she is doing well!
We're long time supporters of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa and have registered a team for this virtual fundraiser: app.simplyk.io/en/team/eb7a36bf-3b2a-4b02-bea6-470b65430bdc. To get things started, we donated $750 from our Benevolent Fund and – between now and March 31 – members are encouraged to boost this amount by donating $1 per meal at the fire house.
Note: Interested members can also register for the 'home edition' as an individual or household (www.bbbso.ca/donate/bowl/), organize a fun bowling event at home, and fundraise through their own network. If you do so, please join the OPFFA team to help boost our total!

Very grateful to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute for saving our brother Derek Bowker – a great firefighter (and a fighter) who's raised so much for charity in Ottawa. His story is a stark reminder during Heart Month of how precious life is. Let's honour Derek and his Hockey for Little Hearts tournament by supporting the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
