Please consider signing this petition which calls on the Government of Canada to ban Per- & Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) from turnout gear & fire suppression foam. PFAS are 'forever chemicals' are linked to cancer in firefighters.Petition the federal government to ban per- and Polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) that are linked to cancer and other diseases in fire fighters. With just 25 signatures for a paper petition or 500 signatures for an e-petition, sponsor MP Peter Julian will have the opportunity to table the petition and speak on the issue in the House of Commons.
